You can make a contribution to important research

"ForeCasting is a highly useful way to test a team’s analytical reasoning capability on collaborative team-based platforms."

You can make a contribution to important research by joining the 2019 StarCraft II ForeCasting Challenge. We have discovered that ForeCasting is a highly useful way to test a team’s analytical reasoning capability on collaborative team-based platforms. In particular because:

  • We gain insight on how expert reasoners (you) use collaborative team-based platforms

  • Your ForeCasts can be assessed on multiple dimensions

  • ForeCast problems useful have an objectively correct answer

  • Players necessarily reason about the current and future actions of other players

What happens and when?

It’ll be challenging, and there’ll be some real competition from the other teams, but we think you’ll really enjoy the 2019 StarCraft II ForeCasting Challenge!

The SWARM Project research team is based at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Times indicated on this schedule are all in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
